Making Womanhood Artists-in-Residence Exhibition
Immerse yourself in the art pieces created in the context of the Making Womanhood residency programme.

We are excited to announce the joint exhibition of our artists-in-residence programme Making Womanhood, on Saturday 2nd October 2021. The event will take place at Youth Makerspace Larnaka, at 17:00 - 19:30.

The exhibition will feature the following artists and works:

The Making Womanhood artist-in-residence programme was realized in collaboration with Youth Makerspace Larnaka, and aimed to examine what it means to be a woman in Cyprus in 2021 and it is part of the Mediatized Portraits of Women Speaker series, implemented in the framework of the POWER project (Portraits Of Women Empowered Representations), which is funded by the US Embassy in Cyprus. We note that it is mandatory to have a SAFEPASS, or one of the following documentation items:

  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate with the first dosage and provided three weeks have elapsed, or 

  • Proof of recovery from COVID-19 in the last 6 months, or 

  • If none of the above apply, a Negative PCR TEST Certificate, or rapid test, valid for 72 hours. 

The use of a face mask is mandatory upon entry into the space. All health and safety protocols will be strictly followed, with controlled entry into the space.
